Bob Ross died in 1995 as he was working on his 32nd series of The Joy of Painting.
Fast forward 30 years and Nicholas Hankins has taken up the paint brush, and is carrying on the tradition of new paintings in the Bob Ross style, but with flashes of his own inimitable style.
What a job he’s made of it. There’s new techniques and new ideas.

Each of the Nicholas Hankins produced Joy of Painting books is approximately 65 pages and contains 13 painting projects. The books consist of:
- A “To The Artist” letter from Nicholas.
- An introduction from Bob Ross that describes the painting supplies and how they are used.
- A set of basic ‘How To’ Photographs and step-by-step how-to photos in full colour.
- Up to 13 full colour paintings, with detailed instructions on how you can paint yourself.
- A DVD set will be available soon.
